I Purchased ATI Home version 11.0 - Will I get Issues?

Thread needs solution

Title says all, and having read here about ATI Home 11 issues, what would you advise I do.

Presently I am backing up to a new drive bay SATAII device using Samsung hard drives. I hope you can advise as t what version of ATI Home I should be using? - This is very worrying.

Ultimately I'd like to create a Safety Boot-able HD that I can slot into my new drive bay, should I need to.

Thank you

Graham

Hello Graham!

Thank you for sharing your concerns with it, I entirely understand you and will be glad to provide you with an answer.

I would like to assure you that there should be no issues with backing up your drive and recovering it onto another HDD - everything should be identified in a proper way, and the scenario sounds very reasonable and safe, so be sure all should work as planned.

Thank you.

Thank you Yana. Most reassuring.

I have made a CD of Acronis, in the event I need to recover from a truly bad crash, but how do I proceed to reinstate a backup from one of my removable HDs, that I would place in the HD device? Do I use the Acronis CD first and then somehow have the backup HD take over?

What I am really saying what is the easiest procedure to do a restart of my my PC from a catastrophic crash?

As I say I have 2 items:

A] Acronis 11 on CD

B] Backed-up Copies of my working C drive on removable HDs that I can plug back into this Snap-In device

This is what I have:-

And I can, and have been backing-up, via Acronis 11, to one of my removable HDs through this device.

Thank you for your advice,
