I want to swap the contents of two hard drives, how should I go about this?

Thread needs solution

I am using Acronis TIH and I have cloned a drive before to a brand new one but in this instance I need to do something a bit more involved. I have two hard drives, one (call it drive A) is 1 TB in one computer with an OS and applications installed totaling no more than 40 GB. The other (call it drive B) is 80 GB in another computer with its own OS an applications totaling no more than 70 GB. I would like to image drive A onto an a 1 TB partition of an external 2 TB USB drive (drive C) and also image drive B onto another 1 TB partition of drive C. I would then like to put the image from drive A (stored on drive C part 0) onto drive B, and then put the image from drive B (stored on drive C part 1) onto drive A, essentially swapping the contents of the two drives. How would I go about doing this with Acronis TIH? If I just clone drive A to drive C part. 0 and clone drive B to drive C part. 1, how would I go about cloning the backed up images on drive C back to the original drives? Does Acronis TIH have a boot disk that would allow for this without running from an OS?

I realized that Clone Disk will not clone a disk to one of two partitions of another disk, it will erase the destination disk no matter what. So I did this swap by cloning Disk A to Disk C with manual destination partition of less than 80 GB , then cloning Disk B to Disk A with proportional partition option, then cloning Disk C to Disc B with proportional partition option. Everything worked fine and went smoothly. Acronis software is great stuff.
