Image ripped from within Windows, cannot recover image from bootable media (RAID related?)...

Thread needs solution

Hello everyone, I am new to Acronis, but am well versed in everything computer related.

I just recently bought two SSD's, installed Windows and all of my programs, realized there was an Acronis license that came with the SSD's so thought I should give it a go. Installed Acronis from inside Windows, did a backup to a share, then later booted the bootable media to recover the image (write the image back to the striped SSD's) and... it doesn't look like I can use the SSD's from the boot media.

Did a quick google and found that Acronis's boot media cannot handle adding RAID drivers. Is this true? Is there any way that I can get the image back? I'm guessing it would be possible to install windows onto a small partition on the array, then reinstall the acronis software and recover the image by writing it to another partition, then rebooting into the other (recovered) partition and deleting the Windows partition that I used to retrieve the image from the server but this is a lot more work than I want to deal with any time soon.

Is there an elite way of getting the RAID drivers into the boot CD so that I can do it from there? Also, I am unsure if there are linux drivers for the RAID (Z68 chipset handles RAID).

Thanks for reading, hope this makes sense and I hope someone can help me.
