Impossible to backup a Compact Flash card

Hi there,

here I have Acronis True Image 2012 running on Windows 7 x64. The Computer is a Dell Vostro 260 with a USB card reader. The problem is that it's impossible to create a disk backup of an inserted compact flash card because it is simply not visible as a backup source in Acronis True Image. Why is that?
A file backup is working (because with this I can access the files on my compact flash card). However, this card contains a Windows installation, so I wanted to create a full disk backup, including the boot sector, but Acronis True Image 2012 doesn't let me do that.

I am having the same problem with Acronis 11 and 13. I am trying to do a backup/restore of a bootable compact flash card. I have had 2 computers lose their MBR while trying to restore a compact flash. Could someone from Acronis please contact me to let me know how to do a backup and restore to a Compact Flash? Or should I use another product?
