Incremental backup "Explore" doesn't show all files??
First time I've restored using an incremental backup. I have one full and two incremental backups created using the "File Backup" method where you select the individual files and folders. I have a folder with a bunch of files under My Documents, an Outlook.pst file, and Google boomarks file - that's it.
I want to restore all the data up to the most recent, so from what I understand I should open the latest incremental backup. When I do so and go into the Explore screen to browse contents of the backup I only see the My Documents directory, not the "Local Settings" directory where the Outlook.pst and bookmarks files are stored.
I noticed that if I select the drive letter at the top of the file tree the calculated backup size is larger than the selected files. So I went ahead and restored and sure enough the Outlook.pst files is restored. So the data is there.
But why can't I see it when expanding the file tree / exploring?
In case it matters the source computer was XP and the target computer was Windows 7.

HI James - thanks! Almost of all my machines have that option turned on, but I'm setting up a new laptop and that would explain the behavior. Good to find it was something simple and I'm glad I asked.
