Incremental backup question for True Image 2010
Guys, I have true image home 2010 and I've made a couple of backups for it and one of them, I made what at least I would call is an incremental backup, where you just keep adding to the image.
However, when I go to add to it, I do not know which file I should choose. I always split up my files to 4.7gb so that they can fit on dvd's if needed so this particular backup has 7 parts I think.
Should I point the software to the FIRST or the LAST file?
Thanks
George

Well, I'm a little lost here (I'm a bit dense). I'm just asking about adding to the backup.
If I want to restore it, I'll start with the first file but if I want to add to one that's already been made a few months ago?
Acronis asks me WHICH file I want to add it on and there are SEVEN files with the same name. Ie:
bla, bla, bla -1
bla, bla, bla -2
bla, bla, bla -3 etc
Should I chose the last one then? #7
Thanks
George

Show me a screen capture of the storage folder with all the bla, bla, bla sorted in date/time sequence. sorted such as the GH14 example.
GH14. Custom Differential Backup Scheme . 6 Diff, Keep 4 chains. & folder
When you do a restore, you need only the select one file.
If you are restoring Wednesday, selecting Wednesday will automaticallyrestore all the pieces prior to Wednesday beginning with the bla, bla, bla which reads _Full_S1_V1 and ending with the file you select such as the Wednesday file.

Your picture would seem to indicate you have two backups.
The backup of May 23 has four pieces,
and the backukp of May 25 has 1 piece.
I would believe that if you wanted to restore the backup of May 23, you would choose the file labelled #4
and if you wanted to restore the backup of May 23 plus the backup of May 25, you would choose the file labelled #4 of May 25.

NOT RESTORE bro, ADD to it!
I apparently did the first one 23rd and then added to it 25th but not sure if I did it correctly
and have forgotten which file I chose to add to, the FIRST one I would assume since clearly
the 5th file was not there when I added IT to the other...

If you wish to add new BACKUPs to it, then choose to add to #5.
