Installing Acronis TIH 2013 on two PCs

Thread needs solution

I have been a registered user of Acronis True Image Home since 2010 version. Today I upgraded my 2011 version to 2013. BTW I’m a home user…

As far as I remember I have always used Acronis TIH on both my desktop and laptop. But this time I understand I’m allowed to install on one machine.

What am I supposed to do to,
• pay another $29.99 to install on my laptop.
• Or pay full $49.99 ?

Since version 2012, Acronis checks the license (using activation) to see if it has already been installed/activated. The license for True Image has always been one serial number per machine. Although you could install earlier versions multiple times, you were not within the terms of the license agreement. If you have upgraded your 2011 version and it is your only copy of True Image, you would need to purchase another full version if you wish to install on second system. You should contact Acronis customer service to see if you could possibly convert your license to a Family Pack (good for three systems). They may offer you a discount to do so.

Thank you for the reply. Yes, I have been a registered user of TIH 2010, 2011, AND 2012. I had upgraded to 2013 from 2012.
On the support page I saw an option for e-mailing for technical problems, but not for a problem like this.

You can contact customer service here: http://www.acronis.com/support/contact-us.html. In step 1, choose "presales/Licensing Questions" from the pulldown on the left and "other" in the pulldown on the right. Skip Step 2 and use chat.
If you still have an older version of True Image you have not upgraded and are no longer using, you could purchase another upgrade to 2013. The upgrade does not need to be installed on top of the older version. When installing the 2013 upgrade it will request your 2013 serial number and a serial number form your older version and perform a full install.
