Intel 82579LM NIC not recognized in ATIH2011 bootable media

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I'm trying to get support for this issue I'm having. I'm trying to restore my PC via a network share but the ATIH 2011 does not recognize the Intel 82579LM NIC in my HP 6200 Pro PC.

I see from this thead:

http://forum.acronis.com/forum/20626

that this has been an on-going issue for 2 months...any help please?

Hello TD,

We have released a custom bootable disk with a fix which will be included in the next update of our software.

I will send you a private message with a download link and I would really appreciate if you could get back to me in case you have any issues with it.

Thank you.

I just burned the ISO and booted the HP 6200 PC and it found/used the NIC! :) It is working again, thanks again!

Hello Elisabeth,

Thank you for your comment!

I'm glad to inform you that the issue was solved in the latest update of Acronis True Image Home 2012 and Acronis Backup and Recovery 11, and from now on you can obtain the updated media without the help of support.

In order to download the updated bootable media you need to have your product registered to your account on our website. After that you will be able to find and download your bootable media in Registered products section.

In case you have an older version of the Acronis products, please, let us know your product license via PM, and we will be able to send you the suitable media.

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you.

Hi

Can I also get the updated bootable media? Can you send a link to my email address?
Finding that using media created under ver 10 is not recognising the Intel 82579LM NIC in the Lenovo T420

Many Thanks
Paul

Hi Anton or somebody else from Acronis,

Is it possible so I can get a copy to?. I have 2 laptops from HP with the same buildin network cards.
Why is it not possible to download it directly from the website? When I login on my account, then the latest version that I can download is Acronis 2011 version 6597 from December 31, 2010 .

Thank you!

With kind regards,
Frans

Hi Seth , Anton and TD
I am experiencing the same problem on a Dell Latitude 3330. I am trying to image with Acronis via FTP
but it does not recognize the Intel 82579LM NIC.
Please send me the link to fix this problem.

Hello,

Hopefully Anton can help you out because I know I've updated my version of Acronis and one of the newer laptops that we have (Dell Latitude E6230 and E7230 I think) don't recognize the NICs. :(
