Internal error: number of copied sectors differs from counted
I am unable to restore a backup. The backup restores completely but at the end I get the error "Internal error: number of copied sectors differs from counted". I have run CHKDSK and still no luck. Any ideas?

Is this a disk based backup, or a file based backup? Are you restoring a complete disk backup to a new drive, or an existing drive? Are you using ATIH 2012 in Windows to do the restore? Have you tried the restore from the bootable rescue media?
Just some questions to get you started :) More details about what you are doing could shed some light on the problems and it's solution (hopefully).

Since you are restoring to an SSD, take a look at this post from Pat L : http://forum.acronis.com/forum/34509#comment-106890. It may give you some insight on the recovery process for an SSD drive. I don't have the luxury of having an SSD drive at the moment, so can't really help in that area other than to pass along information I have seen here and elsewhere.

Do you get the error if you resize the partition(s) being restored?
Is TI doing a sector-by-sector restore? Note that this can happen even if the backup wasn't created using that method. It should state it in the log.
I assume chkdsk didn't report any errors.

No, I do not get the error if re-sizing.
TI is not doing a sector by sector restore.
Correct, I ran chkdsk a few times with no errors.
Thanks!
