Interupted Network

Thread needs solution

While doing a ftp backup to my NAS I watch this network activity:

[url=http://abload.de/image.php?img=ti2015qvufa.jpg][img]https://abload.de/t…]

http://abload.de/image.php?img=ti2015qvufa.jpg

Why does it interupt that hard? With the same Hardware I previously  put W8 twice to the NAS without this slow motion.

Hello QuixX,

Special FTP log will show you what was happening when the number of transferred packets dropped.

We have no known issues with unexpected FTP backup interruptions.

Regards,

Slava

Sorry, I have those problems.

My OS for this action is the rescue-media, I have no idea, how to reach its registry :)

In the KB document that Slava referenced, there is a section dealing with the Acronis Rescue Media as below:

Acronis Linux (Bootable Media and Virtual Appliance)

By default ftp log is created in the /tmp folder and has the following format: ftp-YYYY-MM-DD.log. In order to collect this log do the following:

  1. Start the product in bootable media.
  2. Reproduce the issue with the FTP-server.
  3. Go to the shell (Actions - Shell or press Ctrl-Alt-F2).
  4. Collect the ftp log in one of the following ways:
  • Copy the file from /tmp/ftp-YYYY-MM-DD.log using a samba share or SCP client.
  • Copy the file to product log folder (cp /tmp/ftp-YYYY-MM-DD.log /var/lib/Acronis/ftp-YYYY-MM-DD.log), go back to console and collect system information. The log will be included in the diagnostic information.
