Issue with Acronis True Image 2014 and old network folders
Hi all,
I have a strange issue related to my recent NAS-replacement. On my Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit-laptop, I have a Acronis True Image 2014 running. Recently, my old NAS (a Buffalo Linkstation Live) deceased, so I replaced it with a Zyxel NAS310S. So far so good, but strangely the old network address / folder from the Buffalo-NAS still seems to pop up sometimes, even when I changed it in the Acronis-settings.
E.g. I have a back-up-plan which saves the files from the NAS (music, photos, videos, other stuff) on the USB-hard disk attached to the NAS. The back-up failes because Acronis reports that it tries to access a back-up-file (*.tib) on the network-drive F:\, which does not exist anymore. Furthermore, I still get sometimes messages from Acronis, when it tries to connect to the old NAS (old address was \\ls-chl5ee\share), which I do not understand. I changed the settings, deleted the back-up-plan and created it from scratch - noting worked.
Anybody has ad idea what else to do?

Hi shadowsports,
thanks for the hint, however I am not really skilled in editing XML-files for software I have installed. I did not find an option so far in Acronis itself where I could edit this kind of information.

Do a Windows search for the file archives.xml. Once found rename file to archives.xml.old, True Image will recreate the file on restart.
