I've had a rather weird experience with TIH2012 and would like to know if it's built into the software....

As indicated above, a bit of a weird experience that has never, to my knowledge, happen on my system in all previous versions. I was just going about my usual morning on my system when I noticed my system fan had begun picking up a little too high (or at least much higher than usual) and I looked down at my system tray to find Acronis had loaded itself and upon closer scrutiny, found that there was a "Validation" of a backup going on, without me loading up the program myself and choosing to run one. Nothing in the settings within the program is set for automatic functions, so I'm wondering what the heck is going on. Also, for some odd reason (I say odd, because I don't remember initiating this either) I've been signed up for online backups and received an email stating that it would be costing me $4 dollars and something once the free aspect of it were over (in a month or so I beleive). I don't even have any Credit Card data on the Acronis website, so this seems a little weird. Can someone please explain to me what may be going on and how I can eleviate the problem(s)?
