Thread needs solution

Hi,

Acronis does not Backup just my external 2GB-Raid-Drive (eSATA/Western digital myBook)
Acronis works well on the other two internal 500 GB-drives.

System is:

Acronis True image Home 2011 with Plus Pack /German
Update 3 (Build 6942)

Win7 64x Professional / German
Intel Core i7-2600 /3.4 GHz Workstation (Asus Board, nVidia GTX Graphic Card)

The Backup that fails is on a 2GB Western Digital MyBook Raid connected via eSATA to the Workstation.

The Backup is stored (or even not) on a NAS/Buffalo Terastation TS-XLB113

What I already did:

1) I started the backup manually, without the sceduler
2) I tried to backup the myBook-HDD Raid to a USB-external Harddisc. That did not work.
3) I deleted all 3 Backup - settings, moved the already backuped files to another folder and configured new backup settings.

The Backup of the 2 internal 500GB Harddrives (one is System, one is data-stuff) works fine - as already mentioned.

The Backup of the extrenal WD-myBook 2GB-drive always fails - but data is stored...

Here are screeenshots of the logfile and the explorer.

I would be very happy if someone could help me with a solution to fix the problem.

Hello Jan,

Thank you for finding time to report about the issue on Forum.

This is a known issue, and it was reported to be fixed in the Acronis True Image Home 2012, so I would advise you to test the solution. The demo version is valid for 30 days, fully covered with online support, and almost full functional except the following limitations: 

  1. Clone feature is disabled
  2. Plus Pack not available
  3. Online backup is limited to 30 days, and only 250 Gb of storage
  4. Bootable media can recover only

According to our information, this error doesn't affect the data creation, still I would appreciate if you'd validate the archives, and let us know the results. I'd like to be sure that your data is saved, and protected.
