Magellan Roadmate 2036
Acronis True Image Home 2012 conflicts with my Magellan Roadmate GPS and my computer will not recognize it when I plug in into a usb port? Even uninstalling the software did not help, I had to do a system restore to a point before I installed Acronis?

I have the same problem. I don't think I have the System Restore point available, for when I installed Acronis TrueImage 2012.
I found, when looking at my "Flash ROM USB Device" properties, that the Driver File Details, show FOUR files. Two are from Microsoft (Disk.sys, PartMgr.sys) and two from Acronis (Fltsrv.sys, Vsflt67.sys). That is what comes up, for the device that is supposed to be the Roadmate Gps. When I borrowed another pc, my Roadmate was able to fully connect, and update. the Flash Rom device showed ONLY the two Microsoft files.
I am trying to figure out how to get the Flash Rom driver BACK, without somehow disabling my use of TrueImage, which I use with an external Usb hard-drive.
Is this problem "fixed" in TrueImage 2013? How could I fix this, BEFORE having to do an upgrade?
