major problem, cannot hibernate after installing 2010

Thread needs solution

major problem, reproducible.

and none of my CHAT or tech support message boxes work, to allow me to communicate with acronis.

OK, installed Acronis TrueImage 2010 home.

PRIOR to that, I never had problems hibernatng the machine.

AFTER the install, I CANNOT hibernate

I get error message of  "the device driver for "  (either of a usb drive drvice) will not allow the machine to hibernate .....  (something to that effect)

I did multiple google searches, etc, tried to update drivers, etc.

I THEN RESTORED a cloned image that was PRIOR to acronis 2010, and lo adn behold, hibernate works.

I then re-installed acronis 2010, and hibernate does NOT work.

NOTHING ELSE is changed onthe machine 1!!!!

something in this install is causing the hibernation to fail.

I have since reverted back to ver. 11, and am operating with that.

any further ideas, suggestions for testing, etc, would be appreciated

Hello Nicholas,

Thank you for using Acronis Products

The issue needs closer investigation. Please collect the following diagnostic information and create support case using the following link.

Could you please do the following?

- Open Start\Programs\Accessories\System Tools\System Information;

- Choose the "Save" option in the "File" menu (or "Action" menu under Windows 2000), enter the "File name" and set the field "Save as type" to "System Information File (*.NFO)";

- Send us the saved file.

Could you please download Acronis Report utility available at http://download.acronis.com/support/AcronisReport.exe and run it, create a report and send it to us? Please compress the Acronis Report output file into an archive (e.g. with WinZip) and attach to your message by browsing for the archive. This would provide us with detailed information on the hard disk partition structure.

Dmitry,
I just got this message; I never received an email that a repoly had been posted.
I will attempt to work on this in next couple weeks, as I am going to a physician conference over next week in new york, and I had uninstalled latest version and reverted to version 11
again, I am willing to reinstall and test it, but it will be a couple weeks to do this
