Make bootable CD with working ATI2013 Home
Just downloaded ATI2013_5551_en-us.exe, the latest version of ATI2013.
When run, it will not install on my desktop PC.
Very strange responces occur such as:
Unpacks,
WIN Installer 3.1 or later must be installed.
DAD version 8 is already running
Then starts the VIA HD Audio Deck.
Then starts the NODE 32 AntiVirus window
Installed version 4.5, but no help
I currently use an old version of ATI, ATI10 build 5055 which is installed on a bootable CD.
I have never installed ATI10 o my PC.
My goal is to also create a working ATI2013 on CD, and not install ATI 2013 on my system.
Need some hints how to create a CD with a working version of ATI2013.
Regards and thanks, Dave_s

James F,

Already did this.

Already have the ISO file which I copied onto CD.
Booting with that CD with ISO only starts WIN XP.
I want ATI2013 to start when that CD is booted.
On the ATI 2010 CD, with a 'Recovery Manager', folder,
booting with that CD starts ATI 2010.
Still need help to get a working ATI 2013 onto my CD.,
Thank you and

The ISO file is an image of a CD/DVD that has to be burned to a CD/DVD using software that can handle an ISO file.
If you use standard burning software to copy the .iso file to a CD/DVD, it is nothing more than a data CD/DVD with the .iso file located on it. This type of data disk will not be bootable and is nothing more than a spare copy of the .iso file on a CD for safekeeping.
