MBR Error 3 on HP Z820
Hi all, my company bought a series of HP z820 machines, on all of theese is installed Win7 x64 pro, trying to install True Image with F11 feature the installation was successfully but I noticed that after 2-3 reboot on all machines we can see "MBR Error 3" message, after this message Win7 start without problems...Why the "Press F11" feature disappear???
My company bought Avronis True Image 2013 build 5551

Hi Colin, thank you for your reply. Yesterday I noticed the same problem on my home's pc with an ASUS M4A88TD-M motherboard (http://www.asus.it/Motherboards/AMD_AM3/M4A88TDV_EVOUSB3/) with an SSD OCZ 128GB disk installed.
So, is It possible a bug on 5551 Acronis build? It's very strange that enabling F11 feature after some reboots I have MBR Error 3 in all theese machines. Do you have any idea on which procedure can I follow to investigate the issue?
Thank you

Vito,
The only thing that can be tried is to deactivate the Acronis Recovery Manager and reboot, the MBR3 problem should go away.
Have you also activated the Acronis Secure Zone or use a boot manager other than Windows? For example Acronis OS Selector (in Disk Director) can cause this problem.

No I didn't use any boot selector, regarding the possibility to remove Acronis Recovery Manager, after this step should I have the chance to re-instal F11 feature and hope that It will work without have MBR Error again?

We have HP Z820 Workstations with Win 7 64-bit Pro operating systems. We did install Acronis True Image and made the Bootable Disc. That disc is working on all other machines, laptops but the HP Z820 workstation does not boot from it.
Booting actually starts but never finishes.
Can any one help on this.

Hi there,
If the computer starts to boot on the CD but it doesn't complete, it is probably because the recovery CD LInux drivers don't support your hardware. The solution is to purchase the Plus Pack and create a WinPE-based disk. That one uses Windows drivers.
