Migrating from Windows Home Server

I've been a happy WHS user for many years, however the technology is going to stop being supported. Can I setup Acronis so that it does incremental backups every day to a fileserver on the network?

And when (not if) I need to do a bare metal restore, will I be able to just pick whatever backup date I want and it will restore the machine without me having to fuss with the backup files?
