More USB problems and a fix which may work for some

Thread needs solution

Newbie to ATI but decided to try it instead of Ghost (which I have been using for many years for disk images) because of the ability to shutdown after backup (yeah I know, could use post-op command line) and also hoping for faster backups.

Immediately found some USB keys would not work when plugged into machine... Grrr...

On principle, disabled services not essential to performance. (Non-stop and synch)

Result - USB keys now are reading properly (albeit being recognised very slowly).

Something not quite right here... Perhaps a new version will fix this.

Glad I have not stopped using Genie Timeline as my continuous backup / alternate disaster recovery engine...

Hope this helps someone.

cheers

Thanks Roderick. I just switched recently away from Genie Timeline to Synback because of lack of speed and because there is no way to have retention rules in Genie.
