mouse cursor problem with uefi bios and true image home 11

Thread needs solution

In anticipation of a new ssd, I tried acronis true image home 11 using the stand alone product dvd.
It loaded fine, but the mouse cursor was inoperative. You can't do ANYTHING without a mouse.

I have a Asus P8P67-M pro moterboard which probably needs some sort of driver support in the stand alone dvd.

Is there some sort of an updated DVD or usb solution available?

I have an Asus P8H67-M EVO motherboard and had a similar experience. My mouse wouldn't work on the first screen where you select True Image or Windows but my keyboard does. I use the arrow keys to select TI and then press enter. Once TI was running my mouse works fine.

I also made a WinPE disk and the mouse works fine there. So I guess that's an option too.

No joy for me. The keyboard does get me into ti, but then the mouse still did not work.

I use a usb mouse, is yours a ps/2 type?

Did you use any non default usb settings or such?
