Moving backups from ASZ to another drive
When I first installed ATI2013, I set up an Acronis Secure Zone and did an initial full backup. The ASZ is too small to keep making incremental backups - recent ones have failed due to lack of space. I've recently purchased a 3TB USB expansion drive, and would like to _move_ the backups from the ASZ to the new drive and then delete the ASZ to get the space back for general use. I don't see how to access the backups in the ASZ to move them anywhere, though. Seems like something one _should_ be able to do... Any ideas?

Allen,
Was your "move" of backup from Secure Zone successfu? I'm curious as I was not aware this was possible from within the SZ.
The SZ is an optional feature and not understood by many or most users. Anyone using the SZ needs to have current alternate backups stored on another disk because if the secure zone disk goes bad, the backups are no longer accessible.

Pat's instructions worked very cleanly to move the existing full+incremental backup fileset from ASZ to the new drive - the ASZ has been emptied, the five .tib files have been created in the new drive, and the backup task shows the new target drive with the old # of versions and last backup date. Excellent, and many thanks!
The only bug I noticed is that the move didn't get posted to the event log for that backup task, which (depending on what you think an event log is) it should have.
The final test will be to run the next backup to the new drive. My backup scheme is to do a full backup+4 increments, then start another full backup; this version chain is max'd out, so it will be a full backup. So, this won't be a test of how well ATI does an incremental on a version chain that's been moved. Low risk, I think, at least for my situation.

Thanks for the follow-up. It is nice to know and important to know that backup can be "moved" from the secure zone to an alternate location.
