Network Interface not visble in Acronis TI 11

Thread needs solution

Hello. I currently am running True Image 11 for networked backups and recoveries for my desktop and laptop. I have been backing up the .tib images to a network share using the boot disk. I recently upgraded my hardware. I now have a Dell Precision T5500 workstation and a Dell latitude E6510 laptop. The True Image boot disk does not see the network interfaces on my new systems, so I can no longer do networked backups to my file server. Is there an update available to get TI 11 to recognize the new hardware, or do I have to upgrade TI Home 2010.

Thanks,
Mike C.

Hello Mike,

Thank you very much for your post and welcome to our forum. I will definitely help you with this question.

First of all, I would like to suggest a couple of workarounds to resolve the issue using Acronis True Image 11 Home. We have a specific support policy regarding older versions, you can read more about it here and here.

1. You can try downloading the latest version of the boot disk and see if this fixes the problem. Unfortunately I was not able to find any registered products under your account, please use this article for instructions for downloading the bootable disk in ISO format.

2. You can try downloading a SAFE version of the boot disk, occasionally it resolves hardware issues which cannot be resolved by the FULL version.

3. You can try creating a BartPE disk with the Acronis plugin, this will allow you to add hardware drivers which you require. Please use this article for detailed instructions.

If you are still having issues with Acronis True Image 11 Home, I can send you a trial version of Acronis True Image 2010 Home boot disk so that we can make sure it resolves this problem.

If you have additional questions, please let me know.

Thank you.
