New full backup every time (no overwrite) TIH 2009
We have a machine that is running True Image Home 2011. We just got a network disk to use for backups. I was setting up the scheduled backup. How can I set it to create a new full backup every time? It always overwrote the previous one. I would like to have let's say 25 full backups, and when 25 is up, it would start overwriting the first ones.
I would rather not use incremental backup, it feels less safe to have only one base full backup file. What if this file gets corrupted? I would prefer to have many full individual backups so I can just choose whichever I want to use and have them all separately available.

Inside the link suggested by MVP Tuttle, Look at the example of 11-Full.
Change the example of 4 to your 25 or whatever number you wish to retain of the full backups. Do take the time to read the entire link as it can be very helpful to a new user.

My version was actually 2009, and it looks a lot different. In my "Bakcup options" screen I can only choose "FULL (Overwrites existing backup)" or Incremental or Differential.
I tried raising the number of backups on the next screen after this, but even with that on, it still overwrote the original when I ran the task.

I am considering making a scheduled batch file that would rename the latest full image file to DATE.tib adn then just let TIH make a new image every time.
