No Mouse from Recovery CD

Thread needs solution

The emergency boot CD (tried one created from installed True Image Home and one from dowloaded ISO image) loads ok but on entering True Image (Full) the mouse just doesn't work, neither PS2 connection nor USB. The keyboard shorcuts don't work either. The mouse pointer just wants to stay top LH corner. The keyboard itself does seem to work - bu it is really tricky to get anything to work...
The motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-MA-770.
I'm trying to recover a system so need to get it to work.

The CD works ok on my laptop though.

Any ideas? Thanks

Hello Phil,

Welcome to our Forum, we're glad to greet you here. I would like to help you with the issue.

It looks like the lack of drivers in the bootable media. Can you provide us with Acronis Linux Report from it and exact model of the mouse you're using?

Also as a workaround I would suggest you to try check in the BIOS and see if there is a "USB Legacy Support" option (may have a different, but similar name). Try it enabled/disabled and see if it helps.

Looking forward for news from you.

Thank you!
