Nonstop Backup launches multiple windows

I am running ATIH2012 Build 5545 under Windows XP Pro SP3. When Nonstop Backup is running and I right click on the tray icon and select "Explore and Recover", 5 identical windows open in rapid succession. If I select "Edit backup settings" and then click on "Nonstop backup options" again several identical windows open. What the heck is going on here, and how can I stop the aberrant behavior.

Another problem that I have been having since installing ATIH2012 and running Nonstop Backup is that my computer suddenly freezes for no apparent reason, and I have to force it to power down to recover. I have no definite proof that Nonstop Backup is causing this, but it doesn't seem to occur when I shut Nonstop Backup down.
