NonStop Backup Stops with Failed to Find Operating System Info

Thread needs solution

I have been running Nonstop backup on my 64bit Windows 7 Machine for some time. All was fine until I changed the Destination Drives. I finally got the Normal Partition Backup to produce a good Backup but NonStop Backup constantly stops with with an error that says failed to find information about the operating system in the Master boot Record. What do I need to do to get this restarted.

Michael,

Try to uninstall and reinstall 2012. Then restart your non-stop backup.
You can avoid losing the content of non-stop backup by renaming the hidden Time Explorer Storage folder to another name. Once your new NSB is up and running, you can delete the old data.
PS: I don't rely on NSB myself. THis type of backup is not flexible at all. You can achieve very similar value with a regular disk and partition backup or file backup.

Thanks for the info I will give it a try. It seems any small system changes I make need you almost have to uninstall and reinstall.
