Not seeing posts

I am getting a bunch of posts emailed to me from following a long thread that I think mutated from "wish list". The emailed comments have no actual posting information (e.g., poster, thread name). When I use the link provided (and I have tried a number of them), no matter what the address in the link the browser goes to the beginning of thread "Wish List" in "older forums" but that thread ends at post 272. It never actually goes to the emailed post. And that post does not appear to be in the 6 pages of that thread. I get the feeling I may not be getting all of the comments forwarded to me either.
