Old tib file is not deleting using Backup scheme: Single version (TI 2011 Build 5519)

I've checked our internal resources, and found not mention of a known issue that would match your description, thus the situation requires investigation.

But before we proceed with the troubleshooting, I would like to offer you a solution: 

the build you're using is an outdated one. We have just released Acronis True Image Home 2011 Update 1, build #6574. Please find the complete list of fixed and known issues in the release notes at this link and refer to the following KB article for more details: Acronis True Image Home 2011 Build 6574.

This build may also solve the technical difficulty faced.
