Online backup scheduling

Thread needs solution

I am just setting up regular online backups for ATI 2011.

I have previously always disabled the loading of "C:\Program Files (x86)\Acronis\TrueImageHome\OnlineBackupStandalone\TrueImageMonitor.exe", "C:\Program Files (x86)\Acronis\TrueImageHome\TrueImageMonitor.exe", and "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Acronis\Schedule2\schedhlp.exe" as they seemed useless without needing automatic backups./

But if I want to schedule online backups, it would seem logical that I would need these -- all of them? The first two seem identical, except that one is an SAOB Monitor, and one says it is the TI monitor.

Which of these [all?] do I need loaded for automatic backups to function correctly -- especially the online process? Is the same criteria and specs needed for local automatic backups?

According to http://kb.acronis.com/content/10471 : TrueImageMonitor (both, from OnlineBackupStandalone and TrueImageHome) sits in the tray and shows progress for running tasks. schedhlp.exe notifies Scheduler2 about logon and logoff events, so that if you don't use scheduling on logon/logoff, you can leave it disabled.

Thanks. I tried the online backup last night and it didn't complete. When I woke up, it was stuck about 45 gigs into the [150 gig] backup.

I had run all three items just in case.

Oh well, I'll try it once more tonight to see if it'll work this time...

Thanks,
Chuck
