Greetings,
I see two things. Network name is no longer valid, and this in turn is causing the back up to fail. Or, one of the recent (previous) back up slices is corrupt and the operation is failing.

I would start by running a chkdsk /r on the source and destination partitions. Following this I would validate the first full and all subsequent slices to confirm the initial image and chain can validate.

If any of these fail, you will need to adjust accordingly.

If chkdsk reports errors they should get repaired.

The specified network name is no longer available error can have more than one cause. If you have any type of "Internet Security"(one that includes its own software based firewall) installed, try disabling that. Next try disabling "User Acct Control" (Vista and later OS).

Other possible issues:
Both devices should be members of same workgroup or domain
Editing the Acronis task after creation - Try recreating it
Use \\IP\share name instead of server name in path

Apologies for the late reply but it turned out the NAS was faulty and we now have a replacement.......

I am in the process of transferring the data over......

Thanks for your reply
