Override Existing Setup

Thread needs solution

My Hard Drive crashed. I had a Dell 2nd-day support policy so someone came out with a new hard drive with Windows 7 Home Premium already installed. The service guy said I should call Dell to complete the rest of their installation. Without thinking, I let them remotely set up my Microsoft Office.

I had made a disk image file that is stored on my network drive along with incremental versions.

Two questions. The hard drive had Window 7 Home Premium on it because that was the original machine OS in Dell's files but I had upgraded by a download to Professional, which is the OS in the image. When I restore the image, will it write over the OS on the drive, and should I remove the version of MS Office already on the drive before I recover the image?
