Password Problem

I set up an initial backup for my own PC and that seemed to work OK, so I thought I would try it on my wife's laptop. That's when I hit problems:-

I set the backup to run at system startup and that worked OK. However, when I went back to change the backup scheduler to user log-in, it asked me for my user password. When I put my user password in, it kept telling me it was wrong. I then clicked on the tab for the data saved from my own PC and it asked me for my encryption password (which I had set to be the same as my Windows log-in password), but it wouldn't accept that either.

Not much success so far. What should I do now?
