PC crashed during try and decide - can I recover work?

I was using try and decide with Trueimage Home v11 when my pc became unresponsive and I was forced to reboot off the mb's hard reset button. I have now lost all the work I did on an important document plus the emails that came in during the aborted try and decide session. At a minimum I would like to get back the Word document.

Is this possible?

Is it TI 11 or 2011 (they are different versions).

If TI asks if you want to continue in T&D mode when you start the computer, you may be able to get your file. Otherwise, I wouldn't count on it. Even if it asks, the data may be corrupted.

It's v11 and based on what you're telling me I guess I'm scr*wed. I was not asked if I wanted to continue in T&D mode. I think I will never use it again :(

TI 11 doesn't support remaining in T&D mode after a reboot. That option was added in the later versions. I much prefer just having an image backup to restore than using T&D or similar types of programs.

Another option is to not store your documents on the partition(s) being protected by T&D.
