Premium can't read 2nd partition outside of Windows
Win7, 2014 Premium, Laptop with new HDD, NTFS partitions created by EaseUS Partiton Master V9.3
All other programs can read this partitions files outside of Windows using various CD boot discs but TI. It see the partition, but no folders or files.
This is the 2nd partiton of two, the first being active, but no O/S yet. O/S image is on 2nd partition.
Ideas?

What does that have to do with anything?? It's the 2nd partition (non active) that can't be read. The 1st partition has no O/S in it since I can't read where the image file is stored which is the 2nd partition.
Running one of the utilities, there is a red circle with a 'X' for this partition. Also, I named each partition after they were created, but the problem partition is still labeled 'Local Disk'.

I apologize, I misunderstood your situation. Even though you can read the disk with other apps and Windows it sounds to me like TI detects errors on this partition. Recommend running chkdsk from an elevated command prompt to check for errors. If errors are found run chkdsk /r to repair. If no errors found then you might try using your disk manufacturer tools if any exist for error detection and repair as there are times that those tools find errors that chkdsk does not find.

I removed that drive and laced the original one back in, then connected the new drive to a external 1 1/2" enclosure, to the Laptop. TI does read that same partition, unlike before.
I decided to do a new install. During setup, Chkdsk ran (by itself), but it didn't detect any errors. I went back to try making an image of the new install and it completed ok.
The drive was new. I partitioned and formatted it with EaseUS within Windows. I had to re-partition it due to the primary being too small due to a typo (3GB instead of 30) which I didn't realize until after the operation. I wonder if that was where the problem was. I never initially loaded W7 into the drive, I just tried to use an existing image. I wonder if that had some bearing on this.

Yes, Would say your conclusions are correct. Glad you got it figured out.

Now the trouble has sifted to the apparent common 7b BSOD error when I transfer a image to that drive. A new install works fine. These are working images with two other drives.

Check your machine bios and find out what mode your storage devices are set to run under. Should show IDE, AHCI, or RAID, possible ATA. If set to AHCI or RAID, change this setting to IDE or ATA and see if this help the issue.
