Problem installing ATI 2010

I recently changed computers with OS WIN XP to WIN Vista. I have tried to install my version of ATI (2010) without success. I downloaded ATI 2012, thinking it was a problem with my installation program but same errors. Software indicates that I am not authorized to change many registry values. I run as the user with administrator rights and logged out and logged back in as administrator with no change.

Anyone help? i need to get my backup files restored to the newer machine.

Pls advise.

Hello ML West!

Have you tried to right-click the installation file and select "Run as administrator"? From your description it looks like some glitch in Windows account permissions, and this might help to solve the problem.

If this doesn't work, please attach the screenshot of the issue to the thread.
