Problem with Recovery and Forum-Search :(

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I made many backups with ATIH2012.
Now I want to make a recovery with ATIH2012 (installed software)
I get an error (translate from german in english): "Can't access to backup files"
Why? I can make backups, but no recovery?? I think I hate this program for now.

Second:
I try to search this forum about soloutions for my problem.
But I can't! The simple search about "wiederherstellen", "wiederherstellung" (means recover/y in german) or an older topic created by me, or the word "recover" in this forum didn't give me a result.

Only => nothing found.

Now, I hate this forum, too. (I mean only the function).

And I can't validate my backups. constantly errors with error codes, they aren't in the knowledge base.

Can someone give me a soloution, please?

Thank you.

AND WHEN COMES THE PATCH/UPDATE FOR THIS PROGRAM???
Can't believe it, that I payed money for this alpha-program.

David,

If you are trying to recover a disk and partition backup, make sure you try from the recovery CD on which you will have booted your computer. If your backup in on the network, the recovery CD might have issues in certain networking conditions. If the computer boots correctly, and if you can see your local disks properly, try to move your backups to a local internal and external disk first.
If the recovery CD doesn't see your local disks, download the latest bootable image from your Acronis.com account, burn it *as an ISO* to a blank CD and retry. If this doesn't work, you will have to contact ACronis support to help you.
Once you have been able to access your backup files, validate them from the recovery CD. If validation fails, try to move your backup to another local disk. If it still fails, let us know.
If validation works, try to restore.

If you are trying to recover certain files, you can try to simply mount the TIB file your want the files from (if you have made a disk and partition backup), open the TIB file directly from Windows Explorer (if you have made a disk and partition backup OR a file backup), or recover from the recovery CD (if you have made a disk and partition backup, a file backup or a Non-stop-backup).
