Problem with Serial Key that came with ADATA Hard Drive for Acronis

Thread needs solution

I bought an ADATA SX900 Solid State Drive which came with a Acronis True Image HD stub serial key (the first 16 characters of a real key I believe). After following the steps to register the stub key via the Acronis site, I was able to generate a full key.

When I go into my account on the Acronis website, it says this key is for Acronis 2013 but it does not work with that version. It says it's invalid. I tried the same key with a bunch of different versions of Acronis but none seem to work with this key.

Please help!

Acronis True Image HD is a reduced functionality version of Acronis True Image 2013 produced for ADATA drives. Follow the directions in the link above to download and install it. If you have any issues contact ADATA support.

Hi Joey,

Thanks for your reply. After inspecting the reduced functionality in the True Image HD version, I realized I will need to use the standard version of True Image as there are features I did not realize the HD version did not contain.

Thanks for your help,

- Dave

You may be able to get the full version at the upgrade price using with your ADATA key.

Follow this link and select Presales/licensing Questions in the drop down menu. Then click the live chat option to consult with Acronis support about your upgrade options.
