Problem when booting from recovery-cd

I'm using Windows Vista on an emachines notebook. But when I try to boot Acronis True Image Home 2010 (build 5.055) from recovery-cd after showing "Loading please wait....." the screen becomes black and only the "CAPS LOCK"-Display blinks, so that I have to reboot the system. Using different startup-parameters doesn't help.
The only thing that works, is to start Acronis in save mode.

Hmmm ... someone else described exactly that symptom - Caps Lock Key led blinks. Do a search and see if there was a solution.

If you haven't already, you might try a CD created using the ISO file from your Acronis account.

After downloading the Bootable Media (TrueImage2010_s_de.iso) Acronis starts from that CD. Thanks.
