Progess screen not working under Windows 7
Hi!
I noticed that the progress screen when making a backup or recovery doesn't seem to work under Windows 7. It just get frozen with the state "initializing".
When making a backup, that's not a problem, because you can easily close this dialog and see the progress finishing in the scheduler screen. But when trying to make a recovery which needs a reboot (e.g. recovery of the system partition), the message box asking if you want to make a reboot now doesn't appear (at least this message box appeared in previous versions of True Image). So a recovery of a system partition is not possible under winodws.
Is this a known bug or is there some workaround?
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate (64bit)
True Image Version: Acronis True Image Home 2010 (Build #5055)

Is this still true if you recover the complete system hard disc (where the OS itself is installed)? From older Versions of True Image I'm used to the process: Validating the image under Windows > reboot > automatically start up of the standalone version > recovery.
So the bare recovery process could not be started under Windows. This changed in the latest version of True Image?

OK, after 2 updates to True Image (and the first one should have resolved the problem described above), I've installed the latest version (#6053) and tried to make a full backup. The problem with the non-functional progress bar still remains.
So, is this problem still on the to do list?
