This Program needs more- what it saves and selective restores

I've been using True Image 2013 because I want to be able to restore my system to a point before a virus for example, since no anti virus software (or all them on the planet combined) can detect and remove them all (it also can't replace system files that have been changed or deleted by malware) The computer task I hate absolutely the most is having to reinstall windows and lose everything I had previously installed- and have to reinstall it all.

But, I think think it needs more. For one thing I'd like to see WHAT exactly was backed up in an incremental backup, everything that is new that wasn't there at the time of my last incremental backup.

Second, it would be good to be able to go reload a backup BUT not reverse EVERYTHING that has been installed since the last backup, if I could keep certain things, if I know where the malware is and what it did, I don't want to also install a backup and now have to reinstall things that I did since the last backup.
