Q on the use of bootable media

Thread needs solution

I have been using ATI bootable disk (CD) once in a while.
It works great. My question is whether booting with bootable disk requires pre-installation of ATI or not. In another words, if the installed ATI was corrupted and not working, does the use of bootable disk allow to boot the computer? Cobras

Hello Cobras!

Thank you for your question, I will be glad to address it!

Pre-installation of ATI is absolutely not required for the work of bootable CD. Bootable media can be used on the machine even there's no OS installed: the BIOS boots not into the drive, but into the CD. So there should be no issues with this scenario.

Should you've faced any problem with the bootable CD, please, let us know, we will be glad to help you!

Thank you!
