Question about finding and adding drivers to Acronis Universal Boot, Win7.

Thread needs solution

Hello from Maine.

Thanks in advance for reading my question :)

OK, so I use Acronis True Image 2015 to make a nice image of Windows 7 x64, with the OS tweaked and all the apps I like, from "computer A". This image represents several hours of work. I'd like to deploy this image to another computer to save time and save from doing repetitive work.

I use Acronis True Image 2015 to deploy the image to dissimilar hardware on "computer B".

I reboot Computer B but it is not able to load windows.

OK, so I boot computer B with Acronis Universal Boot, this will reset the "HAL" and windows should boot. But there is a problem. Acronis Universal Boot is asking me for the drivers.

I tried finding the drivers, but I had no luck.

So I had an idea - What if I install windows 7 onto Computer B the usual way, you know from a CD. Then once windows is installed I can somehow back up all the drivers in a way that Acronis Universal Boot will accept. (Windows installation is basically automated, so I don't mind doing it just to get drivers)

My question is, how can I back up the drivers from a windows 7 installation and arrange them on a USB drive in a way that Acronis Universal Boot will accept ?

Thanks :)
Craig
