Raid 1 to Raid 1 Exact system specs

Here is the situation.

One of our clients are requesting to have a spare computer. We have the pc. Both computers are exactly the same to the T.

Dell Precision workstation
Raid 1 two 500 gig drives.
I want to say its software raid. ( its directly to the motherboard (sata))
4 gigs of ram
Windows XP Pro.

They need the spare computer to be an exact clone just in case the main pc goes down. ( this is a Rock and sand plant so down time must be a minimum.) how do i go about doing this. Does Acronis Home do the deed? or is there another way.

Im new to these things so bear with me.

Since both computers are the same, there shouldn't be any problems with drivers in the installed Windows. You should be able to create a backup of the RAID drive and then restore it to the second computer.

If you don't currently have TI, you could download the trial version and test it. It may help you to review Grover's guides and links to get a better understanding of the process.
