развернуть образ диска без таблицы разделов на физический диск

Thread needs solution

Any idea?

Hello. There is a tib file representing a sector-by-sector image of a compressed disk. It is known that this tib file contains a part of an lvm disk (other parts taken from physical disks are also present). Accordingly, there is no mbr or gpt markup in the tib file. It is required to deploy the given tib image to a physical disk. This cannot be done in a standard way. After selecting the source file, an empty window appears, the continue button is inactive. It was also possible to convert this image file to vhd format. In the process, after selecting the source file, a window appears with the inscription Prepare, which closes after a few seconds. This does not make any mistakes. Vhd file is not created.

Welcome to these public User Forums.

The only suggestion that I can offer is to ensure that you use sector-by-sector mode when doing a restore of the .tib file to a new disk of the same or greater size than the original the backup was taken from.   This is normally offered in the Recovery Options settings in older versions of ATI.

Sorry but I cannot read the image text.

What version of True Image are you using, and how are you trying to do the restore?

Are you doing the restore from within Windows, or have you booted the PC using the bootable Acronis rescue media to do the restore?

Greetings.

Version of ATIH is pretty old - 2011. Restore going from windows enviroment.

Ok, thanks for confirming you are using ATI 2011 - the user guide for that version states the following:

Acronis True Image Home 2011 has been tested on the following operating systems:

Windows XP SP3
Windows XP Professional x64 Edition SP2
Windows Vista SP2 (all editions)
Windows 7 SP1 (all editions)

I can see mention in the user guide about making sector-by-sector backups for disks that use unsupported formats (such as LVM) but nothing about how to use sector-by-sector for recovering that backup to another disk.  I do not have any systems with ATI 2011 so cannot do any form of testing here.
