Recover? Specific files??

Thread needs solution

Hi All,

I have a FULL VERSION (at least by inputting my serial number - start with HTUZ675T and end with W96SJ8H8)....

....and cannot find a way to restore individual files and folders. All it ATI will do is offer to...create a new backup?

Weird!!

I'm not using a trial version. And when I go to "Help", the "Recover files" option has a little question-mark by it and won't open. Like I have a trial version, I assume.

I have the DVD (and case with 1 PC and yelling "Backup Your PC NOW!) stamped on it...and the little card with the serial number on it.

(I'm providing this for any Arconis-staffer monitoring this board/thread).

Frustrating, as I bought this on Feb 7 and support runs out on Mar 7. Who ever heard of backup software support running out in 30 days. Oh well, can't buck the system.

On the main UI, you should see three big buttons at the bottom: Operations, Recover PC, Recover files, when you have selected a backup that has run. Can you post a screenshot of your main UI?
