(resolved... corrupt DL) Installer crashes on start

redownloaded it and it works now
might want to check your file server guys, I pretty much never get a corrupt DL.

Not sure what the issue is, the installer insta-fails when double clicked. The installer never even loads, it just goes straight to "blah blah stopped working"
Win 7 ultimate 64 bit
I thought that it was perhaps because I don't have by DVD drive connected, but I doubt the installer is even getting far enough to detect its environment before crashing.
running as admin does nothing
