[Resolved] Never really got going!
Hi, I managed to download True Image Home 2012 and the Plus Pack ok. I successfully installed both products and at first glance everything appeared to be ok. However, within 24 hours I stupidly accidentally switched the power off to my PC, not once but TWICE - I am a fool I know. The first time I got away with it, the second time I didn't and the PC was completely unusable. I had not yet had a chance to make a backup of my PC and the only backup I had was a month or so old. I managed to get the PC back to that state.
But of course the newly retsored PC does not know anything about the newly downloaded and installed True Home Image 2012 or Plus Pack. Luckily, I had printed off the original receipt that Acronis had sent me, which has my Cleverbridge reference number and the two separate serial numbers for the True image and Plus Pack. I am not aware that I had registered either product, but of course sometimes 'things' can get registered perhaps without the user realising.
So, my query is - how do I get a link to download the two products (again)? I do not need the the registration serial numbers since I printed those off and the software is going to be installed on the same PC again. Will I run into problems when I enter the two serial numbers again?

Hi Yana, I have successfully downloaded and installed both products. Many thanks for your help with this.
I will learn my lesson and make a full image of my PC overnight later today!
I have one further question. The manuals I have downloaded for TIH2012 and TIH2012PP appear to be the same, so I am not at all sure what additional features I am getting with the Plus Pack. Are you able to point me to a link whre I can find out precisely what I am getting with TIH2012 and what additional features I am getting with the PP. Plus Pack is an add-on, and it provides you with the:
- Ability to restore the backup onto the machine with the different hardware
Usually when you recover to PC with, for instance, different motherboard, the restore system is not bootable due to the lack of drivers. Plus Pack allows you to add the necessary drivers during the recovery process. We have a Guide with the step-by-step screenshots here, please check it, you may find it useful. - Dynamic disk support
- Microsoft Windows Preinstallation Environment (WinPe)
Pretty handy in case you face any issues with the bootable media
Generally, after the installation of Plus Pack, Acronis True Image Home 2012 starts to recognise dynamic disks in Windows and from the bootable media, and you can restore to the different hardware from booable CD - and you system will be bootable.
