[RESOLVED] Nonstop backup doesn't want to work with an NTFS partition.

Thread needs solution

I have Nonstop backup setup, but want to add another few folders, but it indicates that the partition selected (and currently setup): "Cannot back up to this partition because Nonstop Backup does not support the file system on it". This persists past a reboot. I am not sure why this won't work. Does it need a raw partition?

eventuell ein Screenshot der Datenträgerverwaltung?

Wo auf meinem Screenshot "Basis" steht, steht dort in der Datenträgerverwaltung was anderes?

This is my 'Disk Management' screen shot. It shows that 'H' drive is a healthy NTFS partition, which is the drive I am trying to use.

Nonstop Backup worked before, before the new folders have been added to Nonstop Backup?

Where are the new folders / files to be stored additionally secured?

Acronis Nonstop Backup can not be used for backing up data on external drives.

Drive is "H", an external USB hard drive or NAS?

"Backups (H:)" is an internal drive, I have some small usb memory sticks, but they were not connected to the computer when took the screenshot. The files that I wanted to add are on the 'D' drive, which is also an internal drive.

Mir gehen die Ideen aus.

Ich würde den Acronis Support kontaktieren und eine Supportanfrage stellen.

Daniel,

Do you see the same behavior when you try another disk? If no, ATI might be seing some information on the disk.

If the disk is empty, you could use diskpart to CLEAN it (be careful to select the right disk, see diskpart instructions here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc766465(WS.10).aspx
After the disk is cleaned, you'd have to recreate a volume and format it using windows disk management and try again.
