Restart fails after backup in hibernation

Thread needs solution

I use ATI Rescue Media 2015.

If I backup my computer with Windows totally turned off, there's no problem.

But if I backup my computer in (Windows) hibernated state, even if the backup finished with success, when I restart Windows the boot fails!

It seems like ATI "writes" during backup my computer, probably changes something in my boot area.. (that is UEFI)

I never happened in my other computer, only in this new Windows desktop computer: why?? :(

It is very hard to say exactly. A backup using the boot media should be done when the machine is shutdown and rebooted into the boot media environment not on a drive or system that is in hibernation mode. Not sure how you are doing the backup when the machine is in hibernate but obviously this is not something you should be doing.

I've performed my backups with ATI2013 bootable rescue CD with my machine in hibernation state for many years, without any problem.

Now with my new computer and ATI2015 bootable rescure CD if I perform the backup in hibernation state, the next machine restart'll fail: I don't understand why I shouldn't perform backup with my computer hibernated, since it only consists in writing the RAM to a file in the file system..

The VERY strange fact is that True Image writes my boot, since my computer can't restart after the backup.. isn't it read-only??
