Restore from command prompt

Thread needs solution

I can only boot in windows command prompt. Is it possible to do disk restore from there?

Older versions could be run from the command prompt although the entire program had to be installed--this made it easy to run ati with the task scheduler to do backups. Not an option for you now for recovery. Newer versions are more complicated.

If you have a recovery disk for ati, you can use that even if you have nothing at all on the pc hardisk. If your hdisk image is mucked up, that might be the wisest choice rather than running ati from the hdisk. If you neglected to make an ati boocd, then you can log into acronis.com, go to updates, find your registered serial number and download an iso file that you can burn to cd to make a bootcd.
